Leon Lingnau has been a farmer for most of his life.  He realized early on in his career in the wine industry that farmers should embrace the efficiencies offered by drip irrigation in order to preserve South Africa’s most precious water resources.

The adoption by farmers of the Governmental drip irrigation initiative was inhibited by problems arising from clogging of pipes and emitters. Leon designed and developed the Greendrum ultrasonic cleaning methodology which has contributed greatly to the adoption of this vital water saving initiative.

Simple and cost effective in operation, Leon Lingnau takes pride in his lasting contribution to farming in South Africa.
